Football World Cup 2026
As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ takes center stage, football once again becomes the focus of global attention. At the Halftime Gallery on the adidas campus in Herzogenaurach, a new exhibition brings together historic tournament moments, iconic products, and the cultural energy of the game in one compelling narrative.
An authentic material palette of stained timber, corrugated steel, and textile surfaces creates the setting for a visually striking exhibition. Bold colors, expressive typography, and heroic portraits define the visual identity, giving the stories of past World Cups a contemporary expression.
Among legendary match balls, iconic Predator and F50 football boots, and unforgettable tournament moments, visitors are immersed in a walk-through brand experience that connects football's rich heritage with the present day.
FOOTBALL STORIES AT THE Halftime Gallery
For years, football has been a recurring focus within the gallery's flexible exhibition system. With each new installation, the spatial and visual language continues to evolve, creating distinctive worlds that reinterpret major international tournaments and their stories in fresh and contemporary ways. While the UEFA EURO 2024™ exhibition was defined by dynamic collages, raw materials, and an urban backyard aesthetic, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2025™ exhibition embraced a more refined, minimalist approach. Solid surfaces, clean lines, and a restrained design language placed greater emphasis on the exhibits and the stories behind them.
WHERE FLEXIBILITY MEETS STORYTELLING
Since 2019, we have been designing and developing the Halftime Gallery as a flexible, long-term exhibition system. Over time, it has evolved into a living archive of football history – a permanent stage where legendary moments, iconic products, and the adidas brand come together in ever-changing ways.
