Refreshingly different – refreshingly new!
Following a two-year break, it was a welcome return for the ISE – Integrated Systems Europe. Occupying a completely new and larger trade fair location in Barcelona, it provided the ideal platform for the launch of a new joint venture: Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. Under the motto Beyond Expectation, these two leading brands were able to showcase their unique product range of display technologies, at the world's leading exhibition for AV and system integration providers.
The new image reflects the high quality, technical sophistication and durability of the products. Covering an area of approximately 400 sqm, the brand space is framed by an open silver metal grid. Dark, monolithic walls with a rough slate effect provide a deliberate contrast, generously differentiating the product areas and ensuring that critical viewing distance. These also provide support and a stage for the large-format, high-resolution screens and bright projections. The architecture, characterized by its reduced, pure material language, directs the focus to the moving colored images and dynamic presentation. Counters and pedestals in warm wood, accentuated by greenery, round off the design beautifully.
The concept was developed in accordance with corona regulations, which required the design incorporate a defined entrance and exit for visitors, a designated flow over the stand, as well as sufficient floor space to maintain distance. These regulations only came into effect shortly before the start of the fair, nevertheless, the coherent concept proved a success in its own right. The stand is open yet enclosed, allowing it to be experienced from inside and out. And with plenty of space for presentation and conversation. A successful Sharp NEC presence to match an excellent premiere of the ISE in Barcelona!
