IHK Pavilion Campus Zukunft @ LaGa 2026
The IHK Campus Zukunft pavilion marks the first realization of a joint project with IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein in a physical space located in the middle of Wendersplatz at Neuss Landesgartenschau 2026. What began as an idea just a few months ago has evolved into an open and welcoming architectural concept that reinterprets the traditional pavilion typology. The IHK pavilion was brought to life by the close collaboration and commitment of numerous regional companies and partners.
At its heart is a jointly developed tent-and-scaffolding structure that creates a fluid environment with seamless transitions. The floor, designed using Rhine sand, deliberately integrates the outdoor space and anchors the pavilion in its regional identity.
Large-scale banners featuring approximately 450 m² of graphics give the campus a striking visual impact. Shipping containers complement the ensemble and provide space for exchange, consultation and presentation. The result is a flexible structure that not only conveys content but, above all, facilitates encounters between companies, institutions and visitors.
Campus Zukunft is more than a static structure – it is a dynamic space for exchange, innovation, and new ideas. Shaped by regional collaboration, strong partnerships, and close connections to business, the city, and the wider public, the pavilion serves as a platform for dialogue and shared engagement.
