JLL at EXPO REAL 2024

One glance is all it takes for the large green fair stand to attract attention. Behind this visual lightness lies a well thought-out, sustainable concept and distinctive brand architecture.

At JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), dialogue takes center stage. At this year’s EXPO REAL 2024, the global leader in real estate and investment management redefines how things can be approached differently with its motto: ‘SEE A BRIGHTER WAY.’

Clarity and Reduction
The new trade fair design combines a minimalist aesthetic with high functionality. Thoughtfully crafted zones with clearly structured counters and lounge areas create a space focused on what matters most: encounters between people and brand.

This minimalism is not just reflected in the design but also in the resource-conscious execution. JLL’s commitment to sustainability is vividly expressed through hanging ivy plants integrated into a scaffolding system that serves as the overarching architectural framework. The concept follows other factors and a consistent circulation system:

REDUCE
No additional flooring: The existing hall floor is utilized to save resources.

Less transport volume and weight: The reduced construction design significantly minimizes logistics efforts.

REUSE
–  100% reusable furniture and wall elements: Natural wood is used for tables, counters, and custom-built components, designed modularly with simple assembly to ensure longevity.

Rental system: The scaffolding, lighting technology, displays, kitchen equipment, and plants were all rented for the event.

RECYCLE
80 % recyclable components: All custom-made elements of the stand are fully recyclable.

Notably, the only single-use items were branded red safety markers on the scaffolding and floor signage, which ensured orientation and safety.

A Trade Fair Stand as a Communication Space
The booth was characterized by exchange and interaction. Counters arranged along the stand structured the space, promoting communication not only within the, but also made the dialog visible to the outside. This was complemented by a continuous LED banner on the scaffolding and digital displays that amplified external communication.

The high demand for meeting slots underscored JLL's success. This appearance is set to be showcased again at the next EXPO REAL in a similarly minimalist form.
