The new Gabor store design: A consistent continuation of Gabor’s values into the brand spaces

Functionally driven shops are old news. With the new Gabor store design, Dart is making a spatial statement for the significance of the slow shopping experience. The leading manufacturer of high-quality women’s shoes is emphasising its brand values by focusing on the salesroom as a central meeting place of customer and brand.

The free-standing work table is where the customer and Gabor team meet for consultation – side by side. The turning away from conventional shop counters reduces inhibitions and facilitates a joint research what is also on offer online.

Photo collages on the walls tell stories from the traditional company’s almost seventy years of history. A spacious lounge accentuates Gabor’s hospitality and offers plenty of space for the relaxed brand experience.

The interplay of shapes, materials and colours gives the store a homely atmosphere. Grey concrete and black painted steel meet the warm shades of the shelves and wooden floor combined with a soft carpet.

With the rollout of the spatial, scalable rebranding in 2019, Gabor is modernising its existing shops and opening up new salesrooms.

„It was important to us that the new shop concept is not just modern but also convertible. Great flexibility and scalability are what distinguish the concept.”
